The former Arsenal man has been linked with a move from Chelsea to Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, with Sky Sports reporting that the Spanish giants are keen to take the World Cup winner on loan this season, and some Arsenal fans took to Twitter in reaction to the news, begging their club to re-sign their former player.
The 31-year-old was often maligned during his spell with the Gunners, but he did develop somewhat of a cult following amongst the Emirates faithful.
He left Arsenal for Chelsea in January this year, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £18 million, and ended the season with an FA Cup winner’s medal to show for his efforts.
Giroud then went on to win the World Cup with France in Russia this summer, and despite not scoring for Les Bleus, he was still vital to the way in which Didier Deschamps’ side played.

His displays in Russia have reportedly impressed Atleti, with Sky Sports reporting that Diego Simeone wants to bring the striker to Spain.
