Arsenal star Oleksandr Zinchenko has expressed his delight on Instagram at his Gunners teammate Gabriel signing a new contract.
As announced on Arsenal’s official website today, Brazilian defender Gabriel has put pen to paper on a new deal.
The 24-year-old defender has been on the books of Arsenal since the summer of 2020 when he joined from French club Lille for £27 million (Sky Sports).
Zinchenko, who can operate as a left-back or as a midfielder, joined Arsenal from defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
And, as you can see from his post below, the Ukraine international is pleased to see Gabriel put pen to paper on a new long-term deal.

Gabriel is one of the best players at Arsenal and is a regular at the heart of the Gunners’ defence.
The Brazilian formed a strong partnership with Ben White in central defence for Arsenal last season.
And so far this campaign, he has been at home with William Saliba in the Arsenal back-line.
Gabriel does make occasional mistakes, but the Brazilian is still developing and progressing as a defender.
And we think that Arsenal have done well to hand Gabriel a new deal and tie him down to a long-term contract.
