Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba have reacted on Instagram with the words ‘let’s go’ after Marquinhos secured a season-long loan move from Arsenal to Ligue 1 side, Nantes.
Arsenal signed Marquinhos last summer from Sao Paulo and then loaned him out to Norwich City for a six-month period during the January transfer window.
And upon his return, Mikel Arteta has decided to make the call to send him to France’s top-tier, where he has signed for Nantes.
The 20-year-old reacted to that move on Instagram on Saturday with the words ‘new challenge’ and he received a number of messages in the comments sections.
Hours after Arsenal beat Nottingham Forest for their Premier League opener, William Saliba told Marquinhos ‘let’s go, brother’, whilst Gabriel added, ‘let’s go, my little boy!’.

Bukayo Saka setting the standard
The England speedster is playing at the top of his game and he left off from last season by getting off to an explosive start against Nottingham Forest.
In what proved to be the decisive goal of the game, Bukayo Saka’s stunning curling effort was too hot to handle for Matt Turner in between the sticks.
Arsenal’s ‘star boy’ is setting the standard and showing someone like Marqinhos how it should be done.
