Andros Townsend has expressed his delight on Instagram at Daniel Levy handing the Tottenham Hotspur manager keys to Ryan Mason until the end of the season.
After Tottenham’s humiliating 6-1 defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday, Cristian Stellini was booted out of the door, just weeks after Antonio Conte got the same treatment.
For the second time, Ryan Mason was put in charge of proceedings until the end of the season, with Spurs at risk of missing out on European football.

They are currently sitting sixth in the Premier League table, and if Manchester United beat them on Thursday night, then they will only fall further away.
But that’s where Mason comes into it, and more than anything, the 31-year-old is tasked with trying to lift the morale of these confidence-drained players.
Nonetheless, when Mason expressed his delight on IG at taking charge of Spurs again, his former teammate Andros Townsend posted in the comments section ‘Let’s go, maseee’ added with a heart and fire emoji.
CAN RYAN MASON BRING TOTTENHAM FANS TOGETHER?
It wouldn’t be a surprise if before, during and after the game against Man United – regardless of the result – Spurs fans vent their frustration at those running the club’s ship.
From Daniel Levy to the never-seen, Joe Lewis. There will perhaps be a lot of heat thrown at them on Thursday night.
But can Mason, amid all the doom and gloom, lift a divided fanbase and a crop of players very low on confidence during such a small space of time?
