Adrian and Albian Ajeti reacted to Felipe Anderson’s Instagram message following his season-loan loan move to Porto.
It was a late move from Anderson’s part, whose game time at West Ham had reduced, as he stated on Instagram that he was ‘extremely motivated’ and ‘looking forward’ to playing for his new club.
Several players sent messages to the winger in the comments section, including a familiar duo in Adrian and Ajeti – the latter left the club on a permanent basis this summer for Celtic.
Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian wrote: ‘Come on. Good luck brother’. Whilst Ajeti replied to his message by saying: ‘Lets go my bro’ added with a heart and praying emoji.
That’s another player off the West Ham wage bill, but still no sign of that centre-back that the club craves.
Whilst the summer transfer window has slammed shut on a broader basis, the club’s in the Premier League can still conduct business with those in the EFL, and vice versa.
Those in the West Ham boardroom have made a real mess of this summer transfer window and even an added Championship player won’t make much of a difference.
The big positive for the club is that the players and coaching staff are putting the points on the board, which is easing the pressure on themselves given how the owners are viewed by the fans.
