AC Milan forward Rafael Leao has reacted on Instagram to Ruben Vinagre’s season-loan loan move from Sporting Lisbon to Everton.
After waiting for new faces to come through the Goodison Park doors, like London busses, two have arrived in next to no time for Frank Lampard.
Versatile defender Vinagre has joined on a loan deal, whilst English winger, Dwight McNeil, was added to Everton’s squad this summer from Championship side, Burnley for £20 million, as reported by BBC Sport.
When the former Wolves man signed for the Merseyside club, he shared ‘I have no words to describe the feeling of joining this big club’.
In the comments section of Vinagre’s post, he was sent a number of good luck messages, including from Sporting defender, Bruno Tabata and Valencia right-back, Thierry Rendall Correia.
MORE SIGNINGS NEEDED ON MERSEYSIDE
Some movement, finally, from Everton and that’s three new faces through their doors ahead of the new Premier League season.
Whilst McNeil has been signed up on a permanent basis, it has to be asked whether he will provide enough goal threat after supplying only one assist last season.
More firepower is needed, especially given that Richarlison is now out of the door, but given the club’s financial issues, they can’t throw about their money for fun.
They have done that many a time before and it has done nothing but resulted in them going backwards and land themselves in a huge heap of mess.
It was a relegation battle last time out and many supporters will fear that the same could happen again because pre-season hasn’t exactly helped.
