Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has hit back at a Liverpool fan on Twitter.

The Liverpool supporter has mocked the former Manchester United attacking player’s record for Palace.

The 27-year-old Ivory Coast international has responded to him, as shown below.

Very important player for Crystal Palace

Zaha may not be scoring a lot of goals for Palace, but the former United man is arguably the most important player for the Eagles.

According to WhoScored, the 27-year-old has scored four goals in five Premier League games so far this season, while in 2019-20 he scored four goals and gave three assists in the league and scored 10 goals and provided five assists in the league in 2018-19.

For Palace to have a successful season, the 27-year-old will have to be on top of his game.

Linked with Liverpool

Interestingly, Zaha was linked with a move to Liverpool back in the summer of 2018.

In July 2018, Goal.com reported of interest from the Reds as well as from Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund in the attacker.

However, nothing materialised, and Zaha is still at London club Palace, who paid United £3 million in transfer fees to make his loan deal permanent in February 2015, as reported by The Guardian.
