Tim Sherwood has urged Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to ignore David Luiz on Amazon Prime.

Luiz has missed Arsenal’s last two games with injury, and that has coincided with an up-turn in their form.

The Gunners have now won back-to-back games, after beating Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 last night.

Luiz is now edging closer to full fitness, as the £8 million centre-back (BBC Sport) battles to make his way off the treatment table.

But Sherwood has urged Arteta to keep the Brazilian on the bench and keep on trusting in youth.

“I think the key is the continuity and keeping the same side if they’re fit,” Sherwood said.

“Saka is an injury doubt now, he limped off. Hopefully he’ll be fine. Keep with it.

“If you’re going to tweak it, maybe Lacazette or Aubameyang.

“But when Luiz is back fit, resist the temptation. They’re the ones who let you down before. They’re the ones who have put you in that trouble. The kids have got you out of it, stick with the kids.”

Arsenal actually weren’t at their flowing best yesterday, but when they needed a winner, youngster Bukayo Saka delivered the goods.

Saka went on a brilliant run to create the opening from which Alexandre Lacazette bagged the winner.

Arsenal also had the likes of Emile Smith-Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli in their starting line-up last night, as they secured a much needed three points, which has lifted them up the Premier League table.
