Rangers star Ianis Hagi has taken to Instagram after the Light Blues wrapped up their pre-season campaign with a 2-1 win over Spanish giants Real Madrid at Ibrox – and admitted it “felt amazing” to have fans back inside Ibrox for the first time in almost 500 days.

The Light Blues faced Brighton on Saturday, drawing 0-0, before facing Los Blancos on Sunday, and Hagi is looking forward to the Premiership season getting underway this weekend when the Gers host Livingston.
After back-to-back games this weekend, Hagi found lots of positives to take from the two fixtures as he sent a message to fans on social media.
“Fantastic way to finish the pre-season,” Hagi said. “Tough back-to-back games but a lot of positives to take from each day.
“Having the fans back at Ibrox felt amazing.
“See you in a week. Let the games begin!
The Romanian was deployed in a more central role than he was used in last season, and it will be interesting to see whether the Light Blues continue with that.
The Rangers star is underrated in his importance to the Scottish champions and should have a key role for the Gers.
While speculation persists over a move for Dutch midfielder Joey Veerman, the Gers might already have the answer at Ibrox.
