Speaking on the Premier League’s YouTube channel, Alan Shearer has been full of praise for reported Arsenal target Armando Broja.
The Albanian has been shining for Southampton this season after joining on loan from Chelsea, and he’s now attracting interest from the Gunners.
Broja’s speed and finishing ability have been on show so far this term, and even the Premier League’s all-time record goalscorer has described him as ‘clinical’.
What’s been said?
Shearer gave Broja a glowing review.
“Finally a player who has made an immediate impact at Southampton, Armando Broja. Let me tell you, this lad is clinical. His goal against Brentford made him the youngest player in Premier League history to score in each of his first four home starts. As a striker it’s all about taking chances and scoring goals, so stats like this show me that he can thrive in the Premier League,” Shearer said.

What Arsenal need
Shearer says that Broja is a clinical striker, and that’s exactly what Arsenal need right now.
After the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Gunners are incredibly light up top, and they certainly need a new number nine to bolster their ranks.
Broja could be just what the doctor ordered, he’s already shining in the Premier League, and at the age of just 20, he should be able to develop alongside the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
Whether or not Chelsea let him go is another story, but this would be a fantastic signing for Arsenal.
