Jose Enrique has laughed off the suggestions that Jurgen Klopp has the ‘full support’ of Liverpool owners FSG amid their current problems, as he posted on Twitter.
This isn’t any relation to the German’s job security, which will never be questioned, but in relation to how they have backed him in the transfer market.
This is the worst start Liverpool have made under Klopp and over the weekend matters were only made worse when struggling Leeds United ended their 30-game unbeaten run at Anfield – that was the Yorkshire outfit’s first win in the Premier League since August.

The cracks are there for all to see and, as the games tick by, they are becoming more visible, from individuals falling off a cliff in terms of performances, the midfield becoming non-existent, the defence becoming error-prone and an attack the opposition no longer fears.
Many Liverpool fans think that those running the club simply haven’t backed Klopp as much as they should have done, especially when you compare the Reds to their rivals.
That’s what former left-back Enrique was alluding to when he saw comments from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg that Klopp has the ‘total support’ from FSG because, if he did, then they probably would have backed him more in the transfer market.
FSG OUT…
One thing is for sure, whether Liverpool pick themselves up from the floor or not during these coming months, the fans are and will remain ‘FSG Out’.
From trying to enter the European Super League to what is perceived to be a lack of backing for Klopp, if anyone is going to come under fire, then it’s those at the top of the tree.
There are certain teams that probably aren’t looking forward to the upcoming break for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar – Arsenal and Newcastle, to name a few – but everyone at Anfield will certainly be glad it is on its way because it allows everyone to reassess after a disastrous start.
