
Valencia fans have taken to Twitter to react to the rumours that they are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks.
Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague claimed on his personal Twitter account that Valencia have made a second offer for the technically-gifted Tottenham academy graduate.
Balague shared that the La Liga giants are willing to pay all of Winks’ wages, but the stumbling block for the Spurs man’s signature is a potential loan fee.
Valencia supporters on Twitter have provided a mixed reaction to the Winks news.
Whilst Winks has been starting games for Spurs recently, he hasn’t been earning the game time he would have liked this season and that’s a concern with the delayed Euro 2020 around the corner.
From Winks’ perspective, a move to Spain would be perfect for him because his more relaxed, controlled and technical style would suit the football played in La Liga.

At Spurs, as proven by the success of summer signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Jose Mourinho prefers his players to be of a combative and aggressive nature, which isn’t natural to Winks.
