The Crystal Palace midfielder is said to be of interest to West Bromwich Albion and others.

Any hope West Bromwich Albion may have had of signing James McArthur appear to have been dealt a blow, with the Daily Star reporting (page 44 of Friday’s printed edition) the Crystal Palace midfielder has ‘signed’ a new three-year deal.
However, there has been no confirmation as yet from Palace, where McArthur is currently under contract until June.
The Daily Mirror reported earlier this week that McArthur was of interest to West Brom, Burnley and Watford, as he discussed a new deal at Selhurst Park.

The Scotland international played under Alan Pardew during the West Brom manager’s two-year spell in charge of Crystal Palace.
However, a reunion between the pair seemed like a long-shot, with the Daily Mirror reporting that McArthur is ‘settled in South London’ and is ‘ready to commit to fresh terms with the Eagles’.

McArthur is one of a number of Crystal Palace players out of contract this summer, with Yohan Cabaye, Bakary Sako and Julian Speroni among them.
How big would McArthur’s new deal be for Crystal Palace?
