QPR have made further backroom changes this summer, as Aaron Harris joins the club from Tottenham Hotspur
Queens Park Rangers Director of Football Les Ferdinand has said that it’s a ‘big plus’ after Aaron Harris joined the R’s as Head Physio on Wednesday from Tottenham Hotspur.
The appointment comes with the news that Dr Imtiaz Ahmad has been promoted to Head of Medical Sevices after serving QPR as club doctor in his previous role.
“Aaron is a highly qualified individual who was really well respected at Tottenham and his arrival is a big plus for us,” Ferdinand explained to QPR’s official site. Dr Ahmad starts his new position as Head of Medical Services.

“Imtiaz has done a great job as Club Doctor and it, therefore, makes sense for him to have a role where he can oversee the department,” added former R’s hero Ferdinand.
Harris joins after serving the Lilywhites for eleven years, and although most at Rangers won’t have heard too much about him, his reputation and proven track record could be vital if QPR can keep more players fit this coming season.
Dr Ahmad replaces former Head of Medical Services Matt May, who’s joined Cardiff City.
