Lazio’s Morrison helped Queens Park Rangers to promotion during a loan spell in 2014.

Queens Park Rangers director of football Les Ferdinand refused to close the door on a possible move for Ravel Morrison, during an interview with the Brent and Kilburn Times.
Morrison, who scored six goals in 17 games during the R’s 2014 promotion-winning campaign, is currently out of favour with Italian giants Lazio.
The 23-year-old has featured on only eight occasions for the Rome side in over a year and was strongly linked with a return to England during the summer transfer window.

According to the Brent and Kilburn Times, QPR were always Morrison’s preference, although Ferdinand admits there is only a small chance the midfielder – whom he describes as “a lovely kid” – will be granted his wish.
That said, the former England striker would not rule it out. “Sometimes you have got people who are immensely talented, but you have to decide if that person can come into your group and not disrupt it,” Ferdinand told the Brent and Kilburn Times.

“Sometimes you have to look at it and think will that person upset the others in the group, that’s the last thing you need, as talented as they are or can be you have to take that into account as well.
“That’s not totally my decision it’s the manager’s, and if he feels he can work with him and integrate him into the squad.
“I wouldn’t say it’s totally closed, but it is partially at the minute. Who knows what will happen, though.”
Morrison played an integral role in Manchester United’s 2011 FA Youth Cup success, but was sold to West Ham United the following January having been instructed by then-boss Sir Alex Ferguson to leave his home town.
The ex-England Under-21 star has also played for Championship sides Birmingham City and Cardiff City on loan.
