The Leicester City striker could be a target for Hull City this summer.
The 24-year-old speedster moved to Leicester from CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be in the region of £16.6 million, but failed to establish himself as a first-team regular at the King Power Stadium, making just seven Premier League starts for his club last term.
The Birmingham Mail reported last month that Hull were interested in a deal to take the Nigerian on loan, and it certainly would not be a shock to see Slutsky move for him.

The Russian worked with Musa for five years during his time in charge of CSKA, and he is a big fan of the Leicester man.
The Tigers boss spoke to reporters, and responded when asked if he is interested in bringing the 24-year-old to the KCOM Stadium during the transfer window, as quoted by the Hull Daily Mail:
“We have some loan options and maybe at the end of the transfer window getting players from the Premier League is possible. We are waiting for the decision of big clubs on some players. He’s not our player but of course every coach is better working with players he knows and of course I worked with Musa for five years. I know him and he knows me, it is normal. His position is not the only important one though in this situation.”
The Humberside outfit have made a decent start to life in the Championship, but last night’s 3-2 home defeat to Wolves highlighted how much more work needs to be done in terms of player recruitment this summer.
And the signing of Musa would be the ideal place to start.
