Marco Silva will be entering new territory at Everton next season because it is set to be his longest managerial spell in the Premier League.

Leon Osman has stated that Everton need three more signings this summer, with a potential striker deal being the main priority for the club.
The former Toffees midfielder also stated that he isn’t sure if Everton can secure the services of Kurt Zouma this summer following his successful loan spell at Goodison Park last season.
Silva, who will be in his second season in charge on Merseyside, is hopeful that the club can secure the signing of Chelsea’s powerhouse this summer, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live (08/07/2019 at 9:50 pm), Osman shared his thoughts on Everton’s transfer plans and the man behind their dealings.
“Everton have go an awful lot of players in the squad,” Osman told BBC Radio 5 Live. “That needs trimming down.
“I think the manager wants to bring in Kurt Zouma. Don’t know if he can somehow get that over the line.
“Then I think one, two or possibly three [new signings]. It’s not easy to go out and find three players. But Everton do have in Marcel Brands, a guy who’s at the helm looking at that and giving the club direction. They would love to get a striker in because that’s the main position you would say they need to strengthen.”

Pre-season is underway and clubs are now preparing for the upcoming campaign, so it won’t be a surprise if transfer business now begins to take some serious pace.
In recent seasons, Everton have been one of the busier teams in the transfer market, but they haven’t gone full throttle this time around.
More stability is needed at the club, but equally, they need to add more attacking quality to the team, and in particular, they need to find an out-and-out striker to solve a problematic area for them.
