Former Everton midfielder comments on West Ham’s heavy defeat.

Everton answered their critics with an uplifting 4-0 win over West Ham, as caretaker boss David Unsworth signed off ahead of Sam Allardyce’s appointment.
The victory lifted Everton from 16th place to 13th in the table, while West Ham sit slumped in 18th.
Many Everton fans might even just feel a little sorry for West Ham boss David Moyes.

Commenting on his former boss, Osman said: “It’ll hurt him a lot coming here tonight and losing to a struggling Everton side.
“To come here and be abject for 60-70 minutes and let a nervous Everton grow into the game – there’s only been 20 minutes or so they’ve competed in this game. Goals change games, it could’ve been so different for him.”
Everton were 2-0 down at half-time to a Wayne Rooney brace, but began the second half well.
They were awarded a penalty which Manuel Lanzini had saved by Jordan Pickford.
A goal would have given the Hammers momentum, and Wayne Rooney then scored a wondergoal to put the game out of reach.
West Ham have a brutal run of fixtures upcoming against Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, and face a tough task to climb out of the relegation zone before Christmas.
