The Liverpool striker has been heavily linked with a move to the Eagles this summer.

Former Crystal Palace star Leon McKenzie has told Sky Sports that Liverpool striker Christian Benteke would be a good addition for the Eagles.
The Belgian forward is expected to leave Anfield in the summer transfer window after struggling at the club last season.
He failed to establish himself in the team after a big money move from Aston Villa, with Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi and Danny Ings ahead of him in the pecking order.

Palace have already made a move for his services but have so far failed to reach an agreement with Liverpool, who are keen to recoup much of what they paid for him.
There may be some doubts about Benteke after last season, but not for McKenzie, who believes that a move would be a smart one for his former side.
“Crystal Palace need an out-and-out goalscorer who is fast, sharp and brings something a little bit different. Christian Benteke certainly has those attributes,” he told Sky Sports.
“I think he would be a good addition and he needs to rediscover what made him such a valuable player in the first place.”

It is not hard to imagine that Benteke would be a big hit at Selhurst Park given the system that they employ.
They are very much a side focused on utilising their wingers and have added Andros Townsend to further strengthen them in that regard next season.
With him and the likes of Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha all providing the ammunition, Benteke could flourish and it remains to be seen whether Palace can secure a deal.
