Well, it looks like Gareth Bale won’t be staying at Tottenham Hotspur but one man Daniel Levy should seriously look at this summer is Leon Bailey.

It was reported in December that Spurs were scouting the Bayer Leverkusen winger.

And although nothing happened in January, Tottenham should certainly take a serious look once the transfer window opens once more in a few months.

That’s because Bale, at this point, looks like it won’t happen.

The 31-year-old publicly revealed earlier this week that he intends to go back to Real Madrid rather than stay with the Lilywhites, who have the option of a second season-long loan and Daniel Levy was reportedly going to take up that option.

But if Bale isn’t sticking around, Levy needs another wide option to replace him with – especially given that Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn haven’t exactly lit up the Premier League this season.

And in Bailey, Tottenham would be getting a wide player who has 12 goals and nine assists across all competitions for the German side this season.

And at 23, the Jamaica international, who’s valued at £36 million, only going to get so much better.
