Leo Bonatini praises Wolverhampton Wanderers teammate Ruben Neves

Leo Bonatini and Ruben Neves joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window.

Al-Hilal-owned Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Leo Bonatini has told The Daily Mail that he enjoys playing with Ruben Neves.

Bonatini, 23, joined Wolves from Al-Hilal on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window.

Neves, 20, also moved to the Wanderers in the summer, making the switch from Portuguese giants FC Porto.

The Portugal international midfielder has been superb for Wolves so far this season, scoring one goal in 19 Championship appearances.

Bonatini has also been a success for Nuno’s side, as he has scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 17 league starts.

The 23-year-old has said that he enjoys playing with Neves, and told The Daily Mail when asked to name the best player he has played with: “There were some at Juventus but just in training so here in Wolves I really like to play with Ruben Neves. He is amazing. He is very young but he knows everything he is going to do.”

Wolves are going strong in the Championship at the moment and are the favourites to win the league title.

The Wanderers are currently at the top of the league table with 44 points from 19 matches, four points clear of second-placed Cardiff City.

There is a long way to go this season, but all signs point towards Nuno’s side finishing in the automatic promotion places.
