The Wolverhampton Wanderers striker shared his appreciation for the support given to his side from the club’s fans.

Wolves ace Leo Bonatini spoke to reporters after his side’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Birmingham City on Monday night, and delivered a message of gratitude to the club’s fans for their continued vociferous support, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Brazilian has been in sensational form for the Black Country outfit this season, scoring 12 goals and chipping in with five assists in 20 Championship outings thus far, and he has proven to be a major contributing factor behind their successful first half of the season.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side currently sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table, four points clear of second placed Cardiff City, and the Portuguese deserves great credit for assembling a group of players with the ideal mix of talent and physical prowess to compete in England’s second tier.

Another reason for Wolves’ impressive start to the season is the incredible support they receive week-in, week out from the Molineux faithful, and Bonatini sang their praises when speaking to reporters, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“For sure, they are with us all the time. When we play outside (away) we feel that we are playing at home. They come to support us all the time. We try to play well, to give them the happiness and enjoy the game.”
Next up for Wolves is a clash with Sunderland at Molineux on Saturday, and Nuno’s men will have to ensure that they remain fully focused on the task in hand, if they are to take all three points from the game.
