Should Liverpool move for Isco this summer?

Liverpool have cooled interest in France international Thomas Lemar who was widely regarded to be their top summer target.

Monaco want a premium transfer fee for the winger, having rejected a £90 million offer from Arsenal on deadline day last year.

The Ligue 1 side made clear in January that they would only consider offers at the end of the season, with Yahoo claiming Lemar was open to a switch to Liverpool.

However The Liverpool Echo report the Reds have now shelved their interest in the talented attacker.

Liverpool should have money to spend this summer after selling Coutinho to Barcelona and Lemar was a credible target.

Attentions are turning to who could be in next, and one name already being mentioned is Real Madrid ace Isco.

The Spain international is still only 25 and is falling out of favour with Real Madrid.

Spanish newspaper AS reported yesterday that manager Zinedine Zidane has decided to sell Isco this summer, despite him only signing a new contract last year.

Selling Isco could be a big mistake for Real Madrid, but Liverpool fans would gladly see their club take advantage.
