It looks like Celtic hitman Odsonne Edouard has been identified as a danger by Leipzig ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash.

Leipzig striker Yussuf Poulsen has intimated via The Record that Celtic hitman Odsonne Edouard made a lasting impression on him in last month’s Europa League clash.
The Bundesliga outfit beat Celtic 2-0 in Germany, but the Hoops have the chance to avenge that defeat when Leipzig visit Parkhead on Thursday night.
Defeat would mean that Brendan Rodgers’s side are six points adrift of second place in Group B with two games to play, making it very difficult to reach the knockout phase of Europe’s secondary competition.
With Leigh Griffiths out injured, Celtic will need their £9 million record signing Edouard to be in fine form to keep alive their hopes of progression, and it seems like the Germans might be wary of the Frenchman’s threat after Poulsen’s comments.
“I don’t know Odsonne Edouard so well but in that first 20 minutes he was everywhere and won every duel,” he’s quoted as saying by The Record. “It will be difficult in Glasgow.”
At 6’4, Poulsen could provide quite a handful for Celtic too – if he plays that is,
The Danish hitman, who has four Bundesliga goals under his belt this season, has Timo Werner to compete with for a starting spot and considering the German talent has four goals in his last two games, Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick might well continue with the latter up front.
Edouard netted twice in the Bhoys 5-0 demolition of Hearts on Saturday, and has eight goals in all competitions this season.
