Everton defender Leighton Baines has told the club’s official website that they are targeting a strong run between now and the next international break.
The Blues have enjoyed a strong start to the season under new manager Ronald Koeman.
They have picked up 14 points from their first seven games of the campaign, just four fewer than league leaders Manchester City.
Their last two games before the international break were something of a disappointment for them, though, as they lost to Bournemouth and drew with Crystal Palace.

There are now four games until the next break and Baines says they are targeting a strong run in that period.
“We move forward now and go into these games looking to build upon what we’ve done,” he told the club’s official website.
“We’ve got another international break not too far away so it’s a chance for us to, so it’s a chance for us to try and get as many points on the board in this period as we can.”

Whether Everton can enjoy a winning run over the next month remains to be seen.
They have a tough run of games coming up as they take on Manchester City, Burnley, West Ham United and Chelsea.
Those are hard fixtures, to say the least, especially given that they face an away trip to take on both City and Chelsea.
A win over Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad this weekend, though, and the chances of Everton enjoying the strong run Baines wants will seem more likely.
