Everton defender Leighton Baines has been in pre-season training with Ronald Koeman.

Leighton Baines says that he has been very impressed by the start Ronald Koeman and his backroom staff have made at Everton.
Koeman moved from Southampton to Everton last month, and he has now been training his new squad for over a week.

The Toffees began their pre-season training back in Merseyside, before heading off on tour of Austria.
Baines has been part of Everton’s squad throughout the whole of their training sessions so far, and he has been impressed by Koeman’s start.
Baines is likely to remain part of Everton’s defence next season, but some question marks are beginning to emerge over the England international.
Baines showed some signs of age last term, and he struggled to stay fit.
Everton also have Brendan Galloway and Tyias Browning breaking through, and the pair both showed good form when used in the first-team last term.
Everton’s pre-season fixtures start with a friendly against Burnley on Saturday 23rd July.
