Leigh Griffiths didn’t cover himself in glory for Celtic on Saturday.

Celtic moved into the final of the Scottish League Cup final with a 4-2 win over Hibernian at Hampden Park on Saturday.
Brendan Rodgers gave hitman Leigh Griffiths the nod over Moussa Dembele, but the Scotland international failed to justify his manager’s decision.
The Hoops striker was not hugely involved in the clash and Rodgers withdrew him for Dembele – who scored two second-half goals – on the hour mark.

The former Hibs marksman took a bit of stick from Celtic supporters on Twitter afterwards and Griffiths – who has six goals in 11 starts this season – has reminded them that everybody has an off-day at times.

Griffiths is, of course, a fantastic goalscorer but you wonder whether Rodgers will play Dembele ahead of him next week’s top-of-the-table clash with Aberdeen.
As good as the Scot is usually, you can’t deny that Dembele made a big impression by scoring twice and few would be surprised to see the former Wolves man dropped.
