Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths faced Manchester City-owned West Ham United goalkeeper Joe Hart in June.

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has jokingly said that he has ruined Manchester City-owned West Ham United goalkeeper Joe Hart, as quoted by The Daily Record.

Griffiths came up against Hart back in June during a 2018 World Cup qualifier between Scotland and England at Hampden Park.

The match in Glasgow finished in a 2-2 draw, with the Celtic striker scoring both the goals for Scotland.

The 27-year-old Scotland international scored first in the 87th minute and then on 90 minutes.

Hart has struggled this season. The England international goalkeeper was shipped out on loan to West Ham United in the summer transfer window, and he has struggled to played well for the London Stadium outfit.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper was dropped from the West Ham team against Chelsea at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, with Adrian taking his place between the sticks.

Celtic striker Griffiths has joked that he ruined Hart by scoring twice against him for Scotland against England.

When asked if he is on Hart’s Christmas card list, Griffiths said, as quoted by The Daily Record: “I’ve ruined him!”
