Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has proven his worth to Brendan Rodgers time and time again now.

Leigh Griffiths has told the Scottish Herald that he has enjoyed shutting his doubters at Celtic up.
When Griffiths initially arrived at Celtic back in 2014, there were some doubts over the transfer from the Parkhead crowd.
However, Griffiths has proven beyond a doubt that he has been a great addition at Parkhead now.
The Scottish striker has maintained a brilliant scoring record at Celtic throughout his time at the club.
Griffiths now has 104 Celtic goals in 198 appearances for the Bhoys, and says that the initial doubts over his move actually motivated him.
“I like proving people wrong and shutting them up,” he said. “There were a lot of people who didn’t think I’d be able to cut it here and that I would be away the first chance the manager got, but I’ve been here for a long time now and the fact that he just gave me a four-year deal shows he has faith in me.

“So I don’t think I have to prove anything to anyone now, not really. The manager has said publicly that he knows what I can do, as do the other managers I’ve worked for. The gaffer knows how far I can go in the game.”
Griffiths has actually only been given a rotational role at Celtic by Brendan Rodgers this season.
The 28-year-old only has six league starts to his name, although he did miss part of the season with injury.
Griffiths could be in action for Celtic next on Thursday evening, when Rodgers’ side take on Red Bull Salzburg in the Europa League.
