Leigh Griffiths was Celtic’s hero again on Thursday.

Leigh Griffiths has told BBC Sport Scotland he is “buzzing” to have scored the match-winning goal for Celtic on Thursday.
The Scottish hitman pounced on 87 minutes to secure a 1-0 win over Rosenborg at Parkhead in Celtic’s Europa League opener.
The 28-year-old scored within 10 minutes of replacing Odsonne Edouard, who started ahead of him.
And Griffiths shares what Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers told him before coming on.
“I’m buzzing,” the striker told BBC Scotland.
“I wanted to come on and make an impact and the gaffer said, when we make chances, make sure you are in the box because one will fall to you and I managed to put it away.”
Griffiths is so often the hero for Celtic, but a club-record £8 million was spent on signing Edouard this past summer, so for now you can understand why Rodgers gives him priority.
But the Scot, who earns £18,000 per week in Glasgow [Daily Record], is simply an outstanding goalscorer and one who the Bhoys can always rely on to deliver.
If not for Moussa Dembele’s late departure in the transfer window then Griffiths would’ve still been Celtic’s third-choice striker, which seems odd by virtue of how lethal he is, but if he continues with the heroics then it’ll make it harder for Rodgers to continue with Edouard.
