Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is delighted that Dedryck Boyata is back in Brendan Rodgers’ starting line-up.

Boyata has returned to Celtic’s line-up recently after a difficult summer, where he appeared to try and manufacture a move away from Parkhead.
The centre-back has been in supreme form since being put back into Brendan Rodgers’ side.
And Griffiths admits that Boyata is so good that he doesn’t like coming up against him in Celtic training.
“I try to stay clear of him in training,” he said. “He is a great player and that’s why a number of clubs are wanting him. We are delighted he is staying.
“Since he came back we have had three clean sheets which is no coincidence. There was a lot of talk over what was going on behind closed doors but Dedryck showed his professionalism in coming in and playing to the standards that he can play – and that’s why he got a bronze medal at the World Cup.”

Boyata helped Celtic pick up a 1-0 win over Rangers in their last match, with an imperious display.
Rangers strikers were unable to get the better of the Celtic man, who has instantly helped to tighten up Rodgers’ side’s backline.
While his actions still have not been completely forgiven by the Celtic crowd, the Bhoys are unquestionably a better team for having Boyata involved.
Boyata is currently away on international duty with Belgium, as he has been named as part of Roberto Martinez’s squad.
