Leeds United talent opens up on his debut against Aston Villa.

Leeds United teenager Leif Davis was thrown in at the deep end to make his debut against Aston Villa before Christmas.
The 18-year-old was a late change on the teamsheet after Barry Douglas was ruled out.
Davis has revealed just how late he found out he was starting.
Speaking to Leeds’ official website he says he discovered the news just three minutes before kick-off at Villa Park.
Davis credited the short warning as actually being helpful to him, while his Leeds teammates had helped prepare him for the eventuality.
He said: “Barry (Douglas) had been ill off and on, and all the lads came up to me throughout the day, and just said: “Be Ready”. We went out to warm up, and I was just focused on the game, in case I did start.
“I was walking in to get changed to sit on the bench, and then about three minutes before kick-off, I was told to get ready as I was starting. The good thing was that I didn’t really have time to think about it, as I’d have probably been a bit more nervy.”

Davis was presented with an difficult task, going up against tricky Villa winger Yannick Bolasie.
After a nervous start he grew into the game and acquitted himself well. Leeds coming back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 made it a game he will never forget for the right reasons.
Signed from Morecambe earlier this year, the teenager is better prepared for when his next opportunity comes.
