Young Leeds defender will benefit from Barry Douglas injury.

It is a blow at this crucial stage of the season, especially with Douglas showing his quality with an assist in Leeds’ win over Millwall.
Leeds can’t afford to feel sorry for themselves, and at this stage, it’s a case of next man up.
This happens to be inexperienced youngster Leif Davis.
Ezgjan Alioski will be Leeds’ first option. Stuart Dallas could also emerge as a candidate to fill in. Davis is next in line.
An unheralded summer signing from Morecambe, Davis was not expected to feature for Leeds’ first team at all this season.

He has four Championship appearances to his name, one as a starter. This came when he was a last minute replacement for Douglas in the win over Aston Villa.
Davis has been a regular on the Leeds bench in 2019, although he hasn’t featured since the 2-1 win over Swansea.
Douglas’ injury puts him back in contention for first team action.
