Leeds United sold two left-backs on deadline day.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa showed his ruthless side on transfer deadline day by selling Tom Pearce and Clarke Oduor.
Both players had come through the academy and are left-backs, but Bielsa had made up his mind.
Pearce’s departure seemed inevitable, while Oduor’s was a surprise, given that he travelled to Australia in pre-season with the first team.
This leaves 19-year-old talent Leif Davis as a big winner.
Leeds signed Davis from Morecambe a year ago, and he quickly made an impression with his under-23 performances.
He started for the first team last season, and is firmly in the mix for the left-back spot.

Barry Douglas is clear first choice, while Ezgjan Alioski also impressed at the position when called upon.
After this, Davis appears to be next in line, and this show of faith from Bielsa could have influenced his decision over both Oduor and Pearce.
Leeds might one day regret letting the pair leave, but if Davis becomes the player Bielsa wants him to be, it won’t matter.
