Leeds United fans aren’t accepting an apology from Leif Davis, but only because they feel he has nothing to be sorry for.

Leif Davis has taken to Twitter to apologise for what he believes were costly errors in Leeds United’s 2-1 defeat at QPR on Sunday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side were sent tumbling out of the FA Cup by their Championship rivals.
Bielsa named an under-strength XI and in it was the 18-year-old defender, in his second-ever match for the Yorkshire giants.
But it wasn’t a memorable afternoon for Davis, after the youngster conceded a penalty which QPR scored, before Jake Bidwell out-jumped him from a corner to head home a 75th-minute winner.
Davis, who started at left-back and was then asked to play in central defence, had a decent game for the most part, and fans of the Elland Road club are rubbishing the idea that he needs to apologise for his performance.
They are classy, empathetic responses from a classy fanbase and, hopefully for the sake of his confidence, Davis isn’t being overly harsh on himself.
As mentioned, it was his second-ever game as a professional football. Mistakes at his age are par for the course, and they will shape the player that he’ll become down the line.
