Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri has explained how his side have reverted to the philosophy that helped them complete a miraculous Premier League title triumph las season, as quoted by City A.M.

Leicester ave struggled to emulate the form which led to so much acclaim last term, and currently find themselves sitting in 12th position in the Premier League table, eight points behind fourth placed Chelsea.

Ranieri’s men seem to have found their feet over recent weeks, however, with back-to-back victories against FC Copenhagen and Crystal Palace respectively.

As the Foxes prepare to take on Spurs on Saturday, Ranieri told reporters how his side are now doing all the things that they did so well last term, as quoted by City A.M:

“Against Crystal Palace we went back to our old philosophy, everybody closed, everybody with the same discipline and I recognised them again. It’s important we don’t go back and we stay this way.”

The East Midlands outfit will certainly have to string together an impressive run of results if they are to force themselves back into contention for a top-four spot this season, or risk falling the way of Chelsea last term in putting up one of the worst defences of the Premier League title since the league’s inception in 1992.
