The Leicester City winger would be a superb addition to the West Bromwich Albion squad.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis is under pressure to add more quality to his side before the transfer window slams shut in a couple of weeks, but West Brom fans will not be holding out too much hope of seeing some new arrivals at the Hawthorns.
Pulis has become renowned for his frugal approach to transfers during his time in football management, and with the currently inflated state of the market, it is incredibly hard to find both quality and value.
There must surely be a time when the Baggies boss loosens the purse strings, however, and makes a signing that proves that he harbours genuine ambitions to take the club forward.
Demarai Gray of Leicester
And with this in mind, he should enter the race for Foxes winger Demarai Gray, who has been linked with a move to Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, according to the Mirror.
The 21-year-old ace possesses blistering pace, and he would offer West Brom a real potent edge in the final third, what with the direct nature in which he operates.
Pulis could offer Gray regular first-team action at the Hawthorns – something that he would certainly not be guaranteed at any of the other interested clubs mentioned.
Perhaps the most appealing thing about Gray, as far as the Baggies boss is concerned, is his ridiculously small release clause, with the Mirror claiming that he is available for just £12 million this summer.
For someone with Gray’s quality, that represents fantastic value, and Pulis should not hesitate to bring the pacey winger to the Hawthorns before the transfer window slams shut at the end of this month.
