Leicester City are reportedly keen on Burnley’s James Tarkowski.

According to The Sun, Leicester City have identified Burnley’s James Tarkowski as the man to replace Harry Maguire if he moves on this summer.
The Foxes managed to keep Maguire at the King Power Stadium last summer, despite major interest off the back of his performances at last summer’s World Cup in Russia.
Maguire has suffered a couple of niggling injuries this season but continues to impress, and Manchester City are now thought to be interested in signing the 26-year-old.
It’s claimed by The Sun that City would have to pay somewhere around £90million to sign Maguire, seemingly lining him up to succeed Vincent Kompany whilst boosting City’s homegrown quota.
The report also claims that Leicester have eyed up a replacement, with Burnley ace James Tarkowski believed to be on Brendan Rodgers’ radar for a summer move.
Tarkowski, also 26, has impressed for Burnley since stepping in to replace Michael Keane in 2017, and has even joined Maguire in the England squad under Gareth Southgate.

He may not be quite as impressive on the ball as Maguire is, but he’s a solid defender with Premier League experience, making him an ideal player between veteran Wes Morgan and youngsters Filip Benkovic and Caglar Soyuncu.
Burnley won’t sell on the cheap though having earned big money for Keane, yet with Leicester potentially receiving a staggering fee for Maguire, the Foxes may have the funds to secure a deal.
