The other positive for the Toffees if they were to make a move for the 25-year-old is his versatility in attack, with the ability to play as a striker or out wide.
These are two areas that the Merseyside club are currently lacking in and Musa would perhaps offer them more options going forward after a poor start to the new season, which sees them three points outside the relegation zone after 12 matches and eliminated from the Europa League at the group stage.
