Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could enjoy a breakthrough year at Leicester City after impressing in training with Brendan Rodgers needing to maximise his squad next term, per the Express.
Dewsbury-Hall has been creating a buzz around the Foxes’ facilities since returning from a season-long loan with Luton Town. The 22-year-old also proved himself as one of the top midfielders in the second-tier during his time at Kenilworth Road.
The Hatters named Dewsbury-Hall their Player of the Year after offering three goals and six assists in 39 Championship appearances. He started 36 of those outings, while only sitting out three games following his October transfer, as well.

Luton boss Nathan Jones confirmed to Luton Today in May that he wanted Dewsbury-Hall on loan from Leicester again. He even stated the Hatters would re-sign him ‘whatever way, shape or form’ possible. But Rodgers could now put an impenetrable block in the way.
Leicester chiefs are hugely excited by Dewsbury-Hall’s potential and his efforts in pre-season so far this summer. He could now stay at the club for the new campaign and play a key role in their Europa League efforts.
Rodgers will strive to maximise his squad as much as possible by turning to several youngsters when suitable. Dewsbury-Hall is one, especially should want-away midfielders Hamza Choudhury and Dennis Praet leave the King Power Stadium this summer.
Maddison a big fan of Leicester talent Dewsbury-Hall
As well as impressing Rodgers and the Leicester hierarchy, the Express add James Maddison is a big fan of Dewsbury-Hall. The England midfielder is one of many to have offered rave reviews of the 22-year-old as Rodgers considers his options.
Rodgers confirmed in May that he would give Dewsbury-Hall a chance to earn a role next season, via Leicestershire Live. The Foxes talent impressed the manager while on loan at Luton, winning multiple Player of the Month awards.
“He’s done very, very well,” Rodgers said. “He’ll be one of the players I’ll be looking to bring back in.” Which was no surprise, as Jones lauded the dynamic Dewsbury-Hall from an early stage. “The lad’s pure class, he was outstanding,” he said, via Luton Today in November.
