The Foxes have had seven of their Premier League fixtures selected for live broadcast.
A number of Leicester City fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the news that seven of the Foxes’ Premier League fixtures in December and January have been selected for live broadcast (official website).
Leicester’s home game against Watford will now take place on Wednesday 4 December (7:30pm kickoff) and will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime, while the trip to Aston Villa has moved to Sunday 8 December (2pm kickoff) for broadcast on Sky Sports.
The fixtures against the Premier League’s current top two have also been rescheduled – the trip to Manchester City is now a 5:30pm kickoff on Saturday 21 December (Sky Sports), while Liverpool’s visit of the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day is now an 8pm kickoff (Amazon Prime).
As a result of the Reds game being moved to a late start, the Premier League visit to West Ham United on Saturday 28 December will now kick off at 5.30pm, though this will not be televised, while the first Leicester match of 2020 – the New Year’s Day trip to Newcastle United – remains a 3pm kickoff, but will be live on BT Sport also.
Later on in January, Brendan Rodgers’ side will now travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley on Sunday 19 January (2pm kickoff; Sky Sports), and host West Ham at the King Power on Wednesday 22 January (7:30pm kickoff; BT Sport).
