Celtic lost their Head of Recruitment to Brendan Rodgers’s Leicester City today.

Lee Congerton has left Celtic to join Leicester City.
The Scottish Premiership champions announced earlier today that their Head of Recruitment had resigned.
Leicester confirmed soon after that he had joined up with former Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers at The King Power Stadium.
Congerton, who spent two years at Parkhead, didn’t have a glowing reputation among Bhoys fans following a number of questionable transfers.
Here’s how Leicester fans reacted to his arrival:
It’ll be interesting to see if Congerton’s move down South results in him and Rodgers trying to sign any Celtic players this summer.
There is already speculation about Rodgers bringing Tom Rogic to the club [Sydney Morning Herald], though the Australia international wasn’t signed by either figure for the Hoops.
Congerton has previously worked at Sunderland too.
When leaving for the Foxes, Rodgers brought Chris Davies, Kolo Toure and Glen Driscoll with him from Celtic.
