Leicester City have reportedly agreed a fee for Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez.

A number of Leicester City supporters have taken to Twitter to react to reports coming from BBC Sport which have suggested that the Foxes have agreed a £30 million fee with Newcastle for Ayoze Perez – and the news appears to have left the fans divided.
It has been a torrid start to the summer for the Toon Army, with the large majority hoping to see Rafa Benitez extend his contract and celebrate by getting Salomon Rondon back at St James’ Park following his successful loan spell on Tyneside.
Unfortunately for those fans however, Benitez has left the club. And not only does a deal for Rondon seem unlikely at this stage, but he looks set to be followed out the door by Perez.
BBC Sport reports that Leicester have agreed a £30 million fee for Perez as Brendan Rodgers looks to secure his second signing of the summer.

The reports have attracted a mixed response from the Foxes fans on social media. Perez enjoyed the best campaign of his Premier League career last time out, scoring 12 times as the Magpies pulled themselves away from the relegation scrap with plenty of time to spare.
He has a decent record from his time in England, scoring 42 times and contributing 15 assists in 179 top flight games. Unsurprisingly, some are delighted that Leicester are seemingly on the verge of landing the Spaniard, and they believe that he could be a brilliant addition to Rodgers’ side.

Others however, are questioning whether the Foxes should be paying as much as they reportedly are for the forward. As impressive as he has been, it is an incredible amount of money to spend on a player who has been criticised a fair amount during his time at Newcastle.
Here is what some of the Leicester fans made of the reports…
