Leicester City are interested in bringing Amad Diallo to the King Power Stadium this summer.
With Harvey Barnes edging towards an exit, Leicester City are looking towards a deal for Amad Diallo as a replacement for the winger, as reported by the Daily Mail. However, the Foxes face Premier League competition in the race for the Manchester United youngster’s signature, with Burnley and Sheffield United also in the hunt.
Enzo Maresca needs to sharpen up his side’s attack ahead of their Championship campaign. Expectations will be high for the Foxes to make a strong challenge for promotion. In order to do that, they’ll need to be clinical, and the departure of Barnes, as well as the exit of James Maddison who has already left the club, has weakened their goalscoring capabilities.
Diallo would be a fantastic addition to Maresca’s roster, if Leicester can beat the competition to secure his services.

Who is Amad Diallo?
Diallo’s stock is high after his brilliant loan stint with Sunderland last season. The 21-year-old has proven his ability to shine in the Championship after he banged in 13 goals in the division for the Black Cats. He was also handed the club’s official Young Player of the Year award for his displays across the course of the campaign, and was dubbed a “magician” by boss Tony Mowbray.
The 4-cap Ivory Coast international needs to make a move this summer to somewhere that he can get regular first team starts. Game time is what he needs to continue his exciting development. Leicester can certainly offer Diallo that and should push the boat out this summer to get a deal done.
