Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez wants to move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Algeria international will reject AS Roma and make the switch to North London club Arsenal this summer.

The 26-year-old is reportedly ready to wait until late in the summer transfer window in order to join Arsene Wenger’s side.

Arsenal are not the only Premier League club who are claimed to be interested in signing the former Le Havre star.

According to The London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Mahrez in the summer transfer window.

However, it seems that Mauricio Pochettino’s side may not be able to secure the 26-year-old winger’s services as he appears to be set on playing for Arsenal next season.

Spurs, though, should not be too concerned. Despite being a good player, Mahrez would not be guaranteed a place in Pochettino’s starting lineup and may end up being a substitute in most games.

Leicester manager Craig Shakespeare recently told BBC Sport that the club have turned down an offer from Italian outfit Roma for Mahrez.
