Riyad Mahrez is reportedly edging closer to a move to Arsenal

First up is news of a development in the Riyad Mahrez transfer saga. Algerian media outlet Le Buteur are reporting that the Leicester star has agreed personal terms with Arsenal and will make the move to the Emirates within the next 48 hours, for a fee believed to be in the region of £37.1 million.

Andy King has signed a new four-year deal with Leicester

Meanwhile, The Daily Mail are reporting that Andy King has agreed a new four-year contract with the Foxes, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2020. The Welshman made 23 appearances for the Premier League champions last term, and has been an important squad player since joining the senior side 10 years ago.

Jamie Vardy has declared his gratitude to Leicester City

Leicester’s England international striker Jamie Vardy has been speaking to the club’s official website, and was in a typically bullish mood, declaring that he and his teammates have nothing to fear for the season ahead:

“It’s a big season for the Club as defending champions so we’ve got to make sure we’re ready for it. Nobody expected anything from us last year. What we achieved last season was beyond what anyone could have imagined, but we’ve got to go again. There’s nothing to fear.”

Vardy went on to describe how he is fully committed to the club, and spoke of his gratitude to the owners, Claudio Ranieri, his teammates and the fans for helping him achieve what he has:
