The West Ham United winger could be useful addition to the Leicester City squad this summer.
Foxes fans will be concerned at the prospect of losing one of their best players for the second summer in succession, with Riyad Mahrez being linked with a move to some of Europe’s elite clubs, including Arsenal, Roma and Tottenham, according to the Metro.
Whilst Craig Shakespeare will be reluctant to lose the Algerian, it seems to be a case of when and not if Mahrez will leave the King Power Stadium.
With this in mind, Leicester will have to be lining up potential replacements for the 26-year-old winger, and a useful option for them to consider could be Hammers wide-man Robert Snodgrass.

The 29-year-old moved to the London Stadium in January, for a fee believed to be in the region of £10.2 million, but has failed to stamp his authority on the West Ham side.
The Scotland international still has plenty of quality, however, and a change of scenery, playing under new ideas and philosophies could be just what he needs to hep reinvigorate his flagging career.
Snodgrass has a wonderfully effective left-foot, and is a set-piece specialist – something that would surely appeal to Shakespeare, what with the emphasis he places on set plays, and the height that the Foxes have in their team.
Whilst the West Ham man is most comfortable when deployed on the right wing position, he can operate anywhere along the front-line, which would provide Shakespeare with the opportunity to play with more in-game tactical flexibility, without the need to utilise his substitutes.
And if Leicester do end up selling Mahrez, and bringing Snodgrass to the east Midlands as a replacement, it could turn out to be a shrewd piece of business from the Foxes.
