Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino could turn Ben Chilwell into England’s next big thing, if he manages to bring the Leicester City man to the north London club.

The Telegraph claim that Spurs are looking to sign Chilwell, and he could be the perfect addition to Pochettino’s squad.

Chilwell has developed into a very exciting talent at Leicester, but a move to Spurs could really take him to the next level.

With Tottenham encouraging their full-backs to play in such advanced areas of the pitch, Chilwell could benefit from Pochettino’s attacking ethos.

The 21-year-old broke through as a left-back, but has often playing on the left-hand side of midfield, such is his tendency and ability going forward.

And if Chilwell’s attacking instincts were brought to Tottenham they would surely flourish.

Pochettino has previously shown that he is able to develop young prospects in genuine world-class talents on multiple occasions.

And a move to Spurs could transform Chilwell into one of the most impressive left-backs in the Premier League and an England international of the future.
