Leicester City rejected numerous approaches from West Bromwich Albion.
Leicester City should have taken West Bromwich Albion’s money and run – that’s the general consensus this morning, after the Foxes’ 5-0 hammering in Porto on Wednesday.
The Baggies were reportedly willing to pay eight figures to bring Leicester’s Jeff Schlupp to the Hawthorns this summer, but the Premier League champions clung on to the versatile 23-year-old – despite him starting only 14 matches en route to last season’s title success.

That figure has dropped to one this campaign, although it is as high as four in all competitions, with the latest of those arriving at Estadio do Dragao.

Unfortunately for Schlupp, it could be a while until another one comes his way, after he failed to resurface for the second half in Porto, with Leicester already 3-0 down.
The circumstances were far from ideal, in fairness to the 23-year-old. He was one of 10 changes made by Claudio Ranieri, whose side had already qualified as Group G winners.

Benefit of the doubt? Not where the Leicester fans are concerned. Anyone got a number for West Brom?
