The Telegraph claimed yesterday that Leicester City’s Wes Morgan and Christian Fuchs had agreed new one-year contracts with the club beyond the end of this season.
Leicester confirmed the same on Twitter today and Foxes fans are delighted with the news.
The duo were integral parts of the Foxes’ title-winning campaign under Claudio Ranieri a few years ago.
Fuchs and Morgan have rarely been used in the league this season. The former has played eight times in the league this season while the Jamaican has managed to get just 159 minutes of game time in the Premier League this term.
The veteran duo were expected to move on this summer but they will now get to enjoy a Champions League run next season.
It is unlikely that Morgan or Fuchs will play a bigger part next season than they have this campaign. However, their experience will do Leicester’s youngsters a world of good, and you cannot put a price on that.

Leicester City supporters were delighted with the news about two of their club legends. Morgan and Fuchs are fan favourites at the King Power and the reception the duo will get next season will be just as good as always, if not better.
